We are looking for a talented, creative and ambitious web designer to join the team. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for all things web the ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of HTML and CSS.

A unique opportunity for a talented web designer to join a friendly and growing team based in leafy North London. We are looking for a strong visual web designer with HTML and CSS skills and a keen eye for detail. We use the latest technology, so CSS3, Media Queries (responsive design), LESS and HTML5 knowledge would be a definite advantage.

The successful candidate would be working in our small but growing team, in a relaxed yet professional environement full of opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

We want to see each candidates skills demonstrated, so examples of sites they have recently designed is essential and in fact more important than the amount of experience. We are looking for a candidate who enjoys keeping up with the day to day developments of the web and wants to work in the ever-changing environment of a small company.

Required Skills

• Strong design cridentials, with a solid understanding of recent trends in web design and usability.
• The ability to work from wireframes to create clean, usable and visually appealing websites.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and a desire to develop this further.
• Some experience in a professional work environment

Desired Skills

• Experience of newer technology such as HTML5, CSS3, Media Queries and LESS
• Agency Experience
• Experience with SilverStripe CMS
• Experience of Version control systems (GIT or SVN)

The ideal candidate

• Will have a desire to learn new skills and develop existing skills.
• Will have a strong desire to produce work of consistently high quality.
• Will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage in a small team environment.

Terms

Salary: up to £25k + Bonus.

Type: Permanent (with probationary period).
